What a tremendous blessing day 1 of clinic has been. Between the dental, medical, and optical teams we saw 546 patients and all of them got a chance to hear the gospel. The people of Galapagos were ready for us and they are so sweet and appreciative of everything we are done. This is what partnership looks like working with the local government team, partnering with the local church, and using all our gifts and talents to be a blessing to many. I love that I get to do this. Our 2nd day of clinic was a success.
We saw a total of 601 patients. Watching as lives are transformed is fulfilling. Today I got to treat a patient who felt like life threw her some curveballs. I was able to help her physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I may not know the amount of weight she is under but I am glad I was able to pray with her for God’s love and peace to surround her. She was able to connect with the local pastors wife to help her through the journey. No matter the language you pray in, the love of God can heal and fill any heart that is open and ready to receive it.
